Holland America introduces 2006 plans

Holland America outlined plans for 2006 that include:

  • Thirteen ships offering nearly 500 sailings to all seven continents from more than 25 home ports.

  • Itineraries ranging from two to 108 days.

  • Several maiden ports including the new Caribbean port of Grand Turk.

The cruise line will have eight ships going to Alaska and the 1,918-passsenger Noordam will debut in February. It is the first ship to be delivered with completed Signature of Excellence amenities, according to Holland America

The Noordam will initially sail on 10-and-11 day voyages to the Caribbean.
