Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has announced company veteran Stephanie Young as new managing director.
Young has spent 26 years at Walt Disney Co and previously worked at HKDL as chief finance officer from 2006 to 2009.
She replaces Samuel Lau who is moving to Orlando for a role at Walt Disney World.
Leveraging Young’s commercial strategy and operations experience, ‘the resort will continue to be well positioned to capture opportunities from tourism growth in Hong Kong,’ said Michael Colglazier, Asia Pacific president and MD of Disney Parks and Resorts.
Young commences the new position on February 1, 2019.
"I’m thrilled to return to Hong Kong and work with the HKDL team to further grow the business," she said.
