Hong Kong Shopping Festival adds to The Mole’s waistline……….
Without even visiting Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Tourism Board managed to add a centimetre or two to The Mole’s waistline late last week with a very innovative promotion for the Hong Kong Shopping Festival.
Lisa Lee, Manager, Trade Marketing and Miryana Power, Public Relations Manager at HKTB were the culprits, sending The Mole a very nicely packed box of scrumptious cakes with the words “sale” iced on them.
The good news for the Mole’s waistline is that others in The Mole’s family grabbed most of them, phew!
The message was clear though, that the Hong Kong Shopping Festival is on and if you have clients that want to take part in this annual extravaganza organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), this is the best time for them to discover the diverse shopping experience that makes Hong Kong such a shopper’s paradise and along with the unrivalled range of products at best-value and tax-free prices come summer promotions and special shopping and dining deals for visitors!
All they have to do is make a beeline for the shops and restaurants displaying the Hong Kong Shopping Festival participating merchant sign where visitors can enjoy these amazing summer promotions.
And remember, many shops stay open until at least 10pm and restaurants even later – so they’ll still have plenty of time to experience some of the many other attractions that Hong Kong has to offer.

Well done Miryana and Lisa and thank you!
