Hoseasons shake-up to tackle changing market

Hoseasons has strengthened its management team in a move to “adjust to changing business needs.”

The development see Sara Zimmerman recruited from Virgin Nigeria as product director and Pontins executive Pali Badwal handed the newly created role of business development director.

Zimmerman, formerly head of sales and distribution at Virgin Nigeria will be responsible for developing new product areas and driving yield while Badwal, who headed the sales and business development at Pontins will oversee promotions, partnerships, travel trade and call centre.

Chief executive Richard Carrick said: “The changes we have made to the board are a response tom the rapidly changing nature of the marketplace in which we are operating.

“We have secured the services of two well-regarded and capable travel specialists which will be invaluable given current market trends and our business change needs.”

In two further moves, head of finance Sam Alger joins the board as finance director while marketing director Tim Fullam will also now oversee web distribution.
