Hospitality suites at the British Open go on sale

Wednesday, 20 Aug, 2013 0

As the 2013 British Open falls into the history books, The Royal Liverpool already is looking forward to hosting the 143rd Open Championship next year.

Golf’s oldest Major tournament has begun taking reservations for hospitality events at the Open, where "Tiger Woods will look to replicate his performance in 2006 and Phil Mickelson will defend his title."

The Hospitality Suite at the Open, which will be held July 17 to 20, is available for up to 10 hours, providing meals, canapés, afternoon tea and champagne receptions.

Groups also can gather in the Tented Village alongside the 16th hole, in the Premier Suites and the Gallery Restaurant, the 1860 Club or the Champion’s Club. There’s food, barbecue, giant outdoor screens, formal and informal meals, even a putting green.

The Royal Liverpool is located about halfway between London and Edinburgh.
