Southwest offering nearly 1,000 discounted fares

Southwest’s weekend-exclusive airfare promotion busts on the scene with nearly 1,000 discounted routes. Travel is valid Mondays through Saturdays from next Monday through May 9, with the exception of March 29 through April 2 and April 7 and 8. Flights must be booked at least 10 days in advance and by midnight on Monday, February 20. Sample fares include a $100 round trip from Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and $200 from Denver to Milwaukee.

At the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Florida, guests may celebrate Valentine’s Day any day through the end of February with the "Romantic Rendezvous" package.  Starting at $217 per night, the packages is available daily and includes beach-view accommodations, breakfast for two, a box of Godiva chocolates, a complimentary bottle of champagne and a dozen red roses.

Just in time for the Academy Awards

With the Oscars quickly approaching, there’s a timely offer from three Loews Hotels. The Loews Regency Hotel, Loews Philadelphia Hotel, and Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville are celebrating this year’s Academy Awards with the new "Red Carpet Room Service" package, which includes a complimentary film in-room; a $25 food and beverage credit; Buttered gourmet popcorn delivered to guest room.
