Hotel Indigo coming to Kuala Lumpur
InterContinental Hotels Group is introducing the Hotel Indigo brand to Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
It inked a deal with Techvance Properties Management for the 180-room Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park which is slated to open in 2023.
It will be located close to KL Tower and KL Forest Eco Park in the heart of the capital.
The hotel will comprise several F&B options, a rooftop pool, gym and meeting space.
"The brand has a philosophy and values that align to our vision for this boutique property, one where we want to create something truly lasting and unique," said Edward Lau, Managing Director of Techvance Properties.
IHG currently operates four Hotel Indigo hotels across the region in Bangkok, Bali, Phuket and Singapore.
The KL hotel adds to a growing pipeline that includes further hotels in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Globally, there are 126 Hotel Indigo hotels with a development pipeline of nearly 100 hotels set to open within five years.
