Hotel marketing company counters ash cloud fears
London-based sales and marketing company Great Hotels Organisation has launched an Ash Cloud Cancellation Policy.
The policy means those booking a hotel through the organisation, which has the brands Great Hotels of the World and Special Hotels of the World, will not be charged a cancellation fee if they cannot travel to the hotel because of the ash cloud.
Group director sales and marketing at GHO Carly Gotz said: “We’re aware of the unreliability of flights due to the recent volcano eruption and we don’t want this to worry people when booking their holiday.
