Hotel marketing company counters ash cloud fears

Wednesday, 03 Jun, 2010 0

London-based sales and marketing company Great Hotels Organisation has launched an Ash Cloud Cancellation Policy.

The policy means those booking a hotel through the organisation, which has the brands Great Hotels of the World and Special Hotels of the World, will not be charged a cancellation fee if they cannot travel to the hotel because of the ash cloud.

Group director sales and marketing at GHO Carly Gotz said: “We’re aware of the unreliability of flights due to the recent volcano eruption and we don’t want this to worry people when booking their holiday.

“We know how important our customer’s holidays are and we want them to be able to book with confidence. That’s why we will support our customers by waiving all cancellation fees if their flights are cancelled due to volcanic ash. We would like to give our customers complete peace of mind when making a booking with us.”
