Hotel Imperial Kuala Lumpur relaunches as a member of the luxury collection following a $12 million refurbishment     

Hotel Imperial Kuala Lumpur, A Luxury Collection hotel, has officially completed its USD12million refurbishment program, making its grand debut in February and welcoming guests to its official relaunch event appropriately themed The Art of Celebration. The relaunch also signifies the reinvigoration of the Luxury Collection brand in Asia.

The 385 rooms feature designs inspired by Malaysia’s colourful landscape, diverse culture and friendly people. “We are delighted with this newly renovated Luxury Collection hotel in Malaysia! The hotel’s indigenous qualities and sheer beauty make it a perfect fit within the brand, beautifully complimenting a portfolio which includes The Gritti Palace in Venice, The Princeville in Hawaii and the Laguna Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua in Bali,” commented Peter Frawley, Regional Vice President for Starwood Hotels in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei.

Afternoon Tea at Pavilions Court A new addition to the hotel is the Pavilions Court, serving Afternoon Tea between 3.00pm-6.00pm daily. Savor one of the three Afternoon tea menus while enjoying live classical entertainment. Afternoon Tea menus which are offered: Traditional Afternoon Tea, Veuve Clicquot Traditional Afternoon Tea and The Imperial Afternoon Tea.

The new dining experience at the Hotel Imperial Kuala Lumpur is Essence. The USD1.5 million project now offers an ala carte menu and international buffet.  It is a vibrant new concept restaurant that will add new dimensions to the culinary scene in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is open daily from 6.30am-1.00am daily Celestial Court A restaurant that offers Cantonese cuisine and Dim Sum with excellent service. Celestial Court boasts new mouth-watering dishes with combinations of the freshest ingredients weaving and blending the cornerstones of flavor and taste of Chinese cuisine into every dish. The restaurant serves a wide variety of dim sum buffet on Saturday and Sunday between 10.00am-2.30pm.

Villa Danieli Villa Danieli serves exquisite authentic Italian family recipes. At the restaurant, guests are greeted with a luxuriously warm ambience and aromatic aromas. The restaurant is split-level featuring an open kitchen complete with custom made wood burning oven and rotisseries. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 12.00noon and 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 10.30pm, except Sunday and Public Holidays.
