Hotelbeds rolls out Chinese extranet platform for hoteliers
Hotelbeds is doubling down on the China market with the roll out of a Chinese extranet platform for hotel partners.
The Chinese domain version of MaxiRoom goes live on Monday June 24.
The MaxiRoom platform, which launched in 2015, allows hoteliers to maximise their hotel occupancy rates more efficiently through Hotelbeds’ distribution channels.
"Doing business in China requires a bespoke approach as their technology platforms are different. In the past, we tried other non-domestic websites, but the performance of the platform was not up to the standard we wish our hotel partners to receive," said Adam Krzciuk Kuna, Hotelbeds head of supplier connectivity partnerships.
Hotelbeds says MaxiRoom enables hoteliers to be more competitive, as it offers competitor performance data which allows hoteliers to make informed decisions about optimising their pricing.
Maxiroom features include an interactive calendar where hotel partners can make rate and room type amendments, a promotions manager tool to launch offers, and a user friendly content management system to easily make general information, pricing and offer updates.
Hotelbeds’ hotel partners get access to 60,000 tour operators, airlines, loyalty plans, and travel agents spanning 140 source markets.
