HotelConnect steps in after Bluebookonline failure

Thursday, 09 Oct, 2008 0

A dedicated phone line for agents with clients affected by the demise of non-ABTA bedbank Bluebookonline has been set up by HotelConnect.

Ian Ackland, commercial manager of the accommodation-only specialist, said: “While bookings cannot be assigned – since the failed company was not an ABTA member – we will do our best to match destinations and dates for agents looking to rescue dynamic packages created using Bluebookonline’s hotels.”

The number is 020 8736 1049.

ABTA bonded HotelConnect handles accommodation only bookings for approx 300,000 travellers a year.
