The larger Pride parades in the US are in New York City, San Francisco, Miami, San Diego, Washington, D.C. and Boston.
There are also major Pride parades in Providence, Rhode Island; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Austin, TX; Bloomington, Indiana; Chicago, IL; Kalamazoo, MI; Denver, Colorado; Houston, TX; Orlando, FL and Seattle, WA to name a few.
The LGBTQ+ community is known for being among of the most adventurous and free-spirited travelers in the world.
Paris is reopening on June 9 and will be filled with a host of theatrical, artistic, and cultural events leading up to the Pride parade on 26 June.
Additionally, there are dozens of other overseas cities with large and impressive Pride Month events.
Importantly, there are now more than 75 overseas countries accepting vaccinated American tourists.
HotelPlanner is urging travelers to plan thier trips as early as possible.
“Book all your Pride Month travel and accommodations early, especially a rental car if you need one,” said Bruce Rosenberg, President, HotelPlanner.
“Due to the pent-up demand for travel after a year of restrictions, we’re seeing a major uptick in both individual and now group travel bookings, so much so that many hotels are short-staffed and rental cars have become a hot commodity.”
