Two of Costa Rica’s best-known boutique lodges have teamed up to offer guests a six-night “No Worries Beach & Jungle Escape” package.

This new package includes deluxe accommodations, private airport and resort transfers, in-room welcome baskets with wine and flowers, breakfast daily and a couple’s massage at Lost Iguana’s Golden Gecko Spa,” according to a press release.

Travelers will have three nights each at Lost Iguana Resort & Spa, overlooking Arenal Volcano, and Villa Alegre Bed & Breakfast on the Beach in Tamarindo.

The 43-room Iguana is set among 120 acres of pristine jungle, where a major feature is its network of walking paths only for guests. Every room has a balcony with views of the Arenal Volcano, one of the ten most active in the world.

The Villa Alegre Bed & Breakfast on the Beach in Tamarindo is one of the world’s great year-round warm water surfing coasts. This Spanish-style villa on Playa Langosta in the Guanacaste area boasts a peaceful tropical garden setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Prices start at US$1,590 per couple. This is a savings of 30 percent off regular prices, according to the hotels.
