hotels4U.com to supply top Russian operator

Russia’s largest tour operator Tez Tours has agreed to use accommodation supplier hotels4U.com to provide rooms in Greece.

Worth between €7-10million, the contract allows Tez Tours access to a portfolio of hotels4U.com’s four and five star hotels in the Greek islands of Corfu, Crete, Rhodes and Kos.

The deal is the UK-based company’s first agreement with an international agency as a means of expanding its distribution channels.

Tez Tours handles two million passengers a year but it is the first time the operator has offered Greece as a destination.

The online supplier hopes to extend its network of international agencies beyond Russia and is in discussion with a number of other eastern bloc countries.

Hotels4U.com managing director at hotels4U Haim Perry said: “This is an exciting time for us and is a very satisfying result after 12 months of negotiations. We see this as a great step forward for hotels4U.com and an important development in our business strategy.”
