Port Louis-based IBL Travel has joined the HRG worldwide network as its partner in Mauritius, expanding the number of HRG operations in the Africa region to 12.

IBL Travel, one of the leading corporate travel experts in the country, has clients including CIEL Group, Maersk (Mauritius), Palmar Group and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

HRG’s Africa region includes Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

HRG chief executive David Radcliffe said: “Local knowledge is crucial when delivering a worldwide service.

“The specialism and expertise that our new partner in Mauritius can provide is an added bonus for HRG’s clients.

“Our colleagues at HRG Mauritius have an in-depth understanding of the current development opportunities and challenges faced in both the country and local region and are therefore able to provide well founded advice for our clients.”
