Hurricane-damaged Mexican hotels reopening this month
Viva Wyndham Resorts sister properties in Playacar, Mexico, are set to unveil a $17 million renovation this month.
The two properties were temporarily closed after Hurricane Wilma.
“Meanwhile, the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach on Grand Bahama Island remains undamaged and fully operational,” said Wyndham Resorts.
In addition to repairs, the damaged Wyndhams will have enhanced public areas, among other upgrades, hotel officials said.
Viva Wyndham Resorts have all-inclusive properties throughout the Caribbean and Mexico.
Viva Wyndham is part of the Global Hotel Alliance, a worldwide union of hospitality companies providing upscale service.
