Hush, hush. Bali observes day of silence
Tourists are being reminded not to travel to Bali during the Hindu holiday of Nyepi (silence day) on March 12 because no transportation or tourist services will be available.
All seaports and airports, including the international airport of Ngurah Rai, will close during the silence day.
All cars, buses and other transportation facilities will also stop operating on the day, a local government spokesman advised.
