Hyatt Regency brand returning to the Philippines
Hyatt Hotels Corp has inked a management agreement to bring the Hyatt Regency brand back to the Philippines.
The Chicago based company agreed a partnership with developer Donggwang Clark Corporation for a 350-room Hyatt Regency hotel in Clark, located about an hour from Metro Manila.
It is slated for a 2022 opening and will anchor the integrated mixed-use D’ Heights Resort.
The lifestyle retail and residential development will also feature a golf course, a duty-free shopping mall, an indoor water park and apartments.
Hotel amenities planned include F&B venues, a fitness centre, swimming pool and ballroom.
We are excited to expand Hyatt’s brand presence in the Philippines, where we are seeing a rise in leisure and business travelers. The new hotel, like other Hyatt Regency properties around the world, will be intuitively designed to make guests feel at home," said Hyatt Corp Asia Pacific group president, David Udell.
The hotel will be located within the Clark Freeport Zone which will be linked to Metro Manila by 65-mile train line which is also slated to open in 2022.
DCC chairman Lee Shin Kun said: "We believe that the addition of Hyatt Regency Clark to the other entertainment and leisure facilities in the D’ Heights Resort will further boost the tourism industry not just in Clark, but in the entire country."
