Ibis puts its beds to the ‘torture test’
Budget chain ibis has gone to extraordinary lengths to prove the comfort of its hotel beds.
Its advertising department came up with the idea of sending adventurer Aaron Chervenak up Mount Roraima in Brazil, regarded one of the planet’s most hostile and hardest places to reach, to put the ‘Sweet Bed by ibis’ to the ultimate "torture test".
It has now released a 15-minute film showing his journey, promising "twists, turns, pitfalls and surprises".
