Ibiza hotel to open ‘world’s most expensive restaurant’
The most expensive restaurant in the world will open in a new hotel on the island of Ibiza next month.
Hard Rock Hotel’s Sublimotion restaurant will charge £1,235 per person for a 20-course meal, said the Daily Mail.
The hotel, which opens in Playa d’en Bossa on May 18, has recruited Michelin-starred chef Paco Roncero to front the restaurant.
On its website, Hard Rock says of Sublimotion: "It’s a radically different display of gastronomy that will be limited to only 12 guests per night in a unique space where culinary art and technological innovation come together to create a complete and unprecedented emotional experience."
Roncero, who is Spain’s most famous chef, will also launch a 3,000-seater tapas restaurant, Estado Puro, at the Hard Rock, which will be the biggest luxury hotel in Ibiza when it opens next month.
Hotelbeds will hold its second annual MarketHub Europe travel trade workshop at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza in June.
