Icelandair adds Nashville flights for 2025
Icelandair will launch new transatlantic service to Nashville, Tennessee in 2025.
It becomes Icelandair’s 18th city in North America from May 16, 2025.
The route will operate seasonally until the end of October.
Nashville, TN is dubbed Music City as the capital of country music as well as its long heritage of pop, rock, gospel and jazz.
Icelandair is significantly expanding its network across the US having becoming the first airline to officially partner with Southwest Airlines.
The airlines announced an upcoming bilateral alliance, which will offer connectivity for passengers of both via gateway airport Baltimore (BWI.
Other destinations will follow over time.
Bogi Nils Bogason, Icelandair president and CEO: “We are pleased to add Nashville, linking Music City to our 34 destinations in Europe.”
Our new service will also allow travellers connecting through Nashville more choices throughout the US.”
In 2023, Icelandair carried 4.3 million passengers to 55 destinations in Europe and North America.
