Icelandair resumes service to Orlando
Icelandair is resuming its service to Orlando International Airport from next September, offering a stopover option for UK travellers .
The airline is also adding an extra weekly flight taking the service up to four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
And it claims the flight will offer easy connections via Reykjavik for passengers from Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester.
Passengers will be able to stopover in Iceland on their way to Orlando for up to seven nights for no additional airfare.
Andrés Jónsson, general manager of Icelandair in UK, said: "This is great news for British travellers as it gives them more travel options for their Florida holidays in 2015 and beyond.
"We are continuing to grow our route network in 2015 with more frequencies to several destinations including starting flights from Birmingham airport in February and to new destination Portland in May 2015."
