Icelolly launches river cruises collection
Icelolly.com is boosting its cruise programme with the launch of a new deals collection for the river cruise market.
Featuring alongside the company’s existing ocean cruise offering, the new collection has been created in response to customer feedback and will capitalise on growing
momentum in the sector by highlighting the different types of cruise experiences available.
Deals featured in the stand-alone river cruise collection include itineraries from operators including Viking Cruises, Avalon Waterways, Uniworld, APT Touring and Emerald Waterways.
The new collection marks the next phase of the company’s focus on building its cruise presence, which include dedicated deals and targeted promotional activities across social, on site, email and other owned media channels to drive new customers and inform broader audiences of products.
Sales director Stuart Barrett said: "We are constantly looking for ways to improve our cruise offering, and our decision to start actively promoting river cruise offers is the latest part of this development."
Icelolly’s focus on cruise follows the launch of a15-month deal withITV throughout 2019 and into early 2020, which includes the sponsorship of afternoons on ITV3, whose core viewership closely match the cruise customer demographic.
In addition, its all-new ‘Do it for the stories – we’ll find the deal to get you there’ advertising spot features a dedicated cruise segment.
