IHG offers gifting service for loyalty members
InterContinental Hotels Group is kicking off the summer with a sharable loyalty rewards program.
IHG has partnered with Coca-Cola to launch a new ‘Share Forever’ promotion, allowing loyalty members to share reward points with their nearest and dearest.
IHG Reward Club members will continue to earn points in the conventional way but will also be able to earn additional points and free nights to be shared with others.
"When you spend a lot of time on the road away from your family and friends, you want to find ways to have them share in your experiences. The ‘Share Forever’ promotion lets our members earn additional rewards to share with their loved ones," said Lara Hernandez, IHG vice president, commercial marketing for the Americas.
Open to IHG Rewards Club members resident in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America, guests can earn 500 bonus points after just a one-night stay in a IHG hotel between May 1 and Sept. 7, 2015.
With additional nights, members earn more bonus points and free nights to share with friends and family.
The IHG Rewards Club microsite offers personalized offers which can be gifted.
To take part, members must register in advance and Share Forever’ rewards may be used at all IHG hotels except the recently acquired Kimpton Hotels brand.
