India’s Palace on Wheels poised to restart services
India’s famed luxury train, Palace on Wheels, will likely start rolling again next month.
The Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and the state government have held talks with the company over a possible new public-private partnership.
RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore said Palace on Wheels could be re-launched in September.
The luxury train was established in 1982 and operated in association with Indian Railways.
