Tourist offices, airports and airlines are gearing up for the PATA Routes Tourism & Air Services Summit next month.
More than 2,500 delegates are expects at the event on September 13-15 at the New China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing.
Issues to be discussed include how tourism authorities can impact on the airline route development process and what contribution air services can make to destination recovery.
The show’s tourism development director Gerard Brown said: “TAS will give attendees an ideal opportunity to work with airports and carriers to mitigate the drop in passenger numbers at this difficult time and position themselves for the future.”
Speakers include PATA’s John Koldowski, Shaun Monnery of Astraeus Airlines and representatives of Tourism Australia, Tourism Malaysia, Dubai International Airport, JetBlue and Southwest Airlines.
