Industry leaders receive New Year Honours
Carnival UK CEO David Dingle and Superbreak managing director Nick Cust have both been recognised in the New Year Honours list.
Dingle receives a CBE for services to the shipping industry while Cust gains an OBE for services to the tourist industry.
Hugh Taylor, chief executive of Hilmar Hotel Management, also receives an OBE for services to the tourist and hospitality industry.
Kumar Muthalagappan, appointed to VisitBritain’s board in 2002 and managing director of the Pearl Hotels and Restaurants Group, receives an OBE for services to the hospitality industry.
