Insight Vacations appoints marketing VP

Insight Vacations has named Willie Montano as new marketing vice president, effective from March 6.
 
Montano will head up all marketing functions for the Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold brands out of the Rye, NY office.
 
He has more than a decade of experience in marketing, sales and public relations and was US based vice president of marketing at CIE Tours.
 
At CIE Tours he was instrumental in developing the brand’s social media strategy, cultivated relationships with tourist boards such as VisitBritain and Visit Wales, and grew sales in emerging markets like Canada and Australia.
 
Montano was also a member of the advisory membership committee of USTOA from 2014-2016.

Willie understands the importance of our travel agency partner relationships and I look forward to watching him take our marketing to the next level," said president Phil Cappelli.
