Interhome enters eastern Europe for winter ski
Ski holidays in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic have been added by Interhome for 2005-06.
The rental-only ski accommodation and short breaks operator has also introduced Germany in a new winter brochure.
The company is targeting independent winter sports enthusiasts online by featuring links from its website www.interhome.co.uk to budget airline search site lowFAREonline, ferry site aferry.to and HolidayAutos for car rental.
The Inghams/Hotelplan-owned operator – marking its 40th anniversary this year – is offering 5,000 holiday homes in moe than 100 resorts including France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
Budget apartments start at £6 per person a night. A family of four can stay in an apartment in the Polish resort of Zakopane during the February half-term for £62 per person.
Commenting on expansion into eastern Europe, the company said: “The huge increase in flights has led to many people heading east for their summer holidays so Interhome is testing the winter market with holidays which should be ideal for families on a budget.”
