Ironman champ to lead triathlon camp
Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa, Southern California’s only Relais & Chateaux property, will host a four-day, four-night Andy Potts Performance Triathlon Camp by Breakaway Training, February 27-March 3, 2014.
Participants will have the opportunity to advance their training skills alongside former Olympian, multiple Ironman and 70.3 world champion.
Potts will be joined by some of the best-known trainers and coaches.
Jeff Jacobs, owner of Rancho Valencia, located in San Diego’s exclusive community of Rancho Santa Fe, is an accomplished tri-athlete and four-time Ironman veteran.
He said the training camp would offer "an exceptional experience with the rare opportunity to gain access to some of the world’s top experts".
The training schedule includes open water swimming, long and short coastal and mountain runs and rides, coached pool swim sessions, a 20km time trail and track speed work.
The cost of the Andy Potts Performance Triathlon Camp by Breakaway Training is US$8,000 per person, $3,000 for an additional participating guest and $1,500 for an additional non-participating guest.
