ITB Asia to boost association business

ITB Asia 2010 will hold its Association Day on October 20-21.

The specialist day-and-a-half association event has been designed for destinations and travel professionals who want to attract, and better service, association congresses and forums.

ITB Asia Association Day is a collaboration between Messe Berlin, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), The Centre for Association Leadership, Ace:Daytons Direct, and Suntec Singapore.

The event is supported by The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and the Singapore Tourism Board.

“I would like to see Asia’s professional conference organisers enhance standards and cooperate further to bring more association events to the region,” said Nancy Tan, managing director of ACE: Daytons Direct.

“Association Day at ITB Asia is an important step to help us achieve those goals,” she aded.
