ITM appoints new vice chair
The Institute of Travel Management has appointed Jamie Hindhaugh vice chair of the association.
Hindhaugh, who is head of sourcing at the BBC, will succeed chairman Caroline Strachan when she steps down in 2010. ITM says Hindhaugh’s wealth of experience in the industry plus his strong new media background made him the strongest contender for the role.
ITM chair Caroline Strachan said: “Jamie’s focus on issues such as distribution, technology and demand management are the perfect complement to ITM’s existing work in this area.”
Hindhaugh will shadowing Strachan over the next 18 months, taking the chair in January 2010.
