ITM to launch new London-based event

The Institute of Travel Management is to launch a new London-based event for the managed travel and meetings sector in a joint venture with the Global Business Travel Association.

The first event will be focused on strategic meetings management and will be held at the Royal Horseguards Hotel on January 30 next year.

"ITM is the market leader in the UK and Ireland and has built a strong reputation in the industry for excellence," said ITM chair Karen Hutchings.

"The expansion of our relationship with GBTA will allow us to further leverage our respective assets and deliver world-class events and education for years to come.

"As long-time partners, GBTA and ITM view this as a natural next step and an important one to meet the needs of our collective memberships in a post-Brexit world."
