It’s hot
Hotwire.com was awarded top honors for hotel reservations on a travel Web site, according to the quarterly Market Metrix Hospitality Index.
The study of 35,000 US-based travelers gave Hotwire the highest marks of all third-party travel Web sites, marking the second time the discount travel site won the award.
Hotwire says its discounted hotel rates save customers up to 75%. The company has more than 7,000 hotels in North America and offers a double-difference if users find a lower rate within 48 hours.
