Japan approves Jetstar flying to Kansai
Japan’s transport ministry has announced that it has authorised Australia LCC Jetstar to operate regular flights to Kansai International Airport, starting on March 25.
Jetstar will operate daily flights between Sydney and Kansai, via Brisbane with the airport at Kansai built on a man-made island in Osaka Bay.
Jetstar, a subsidiary of Qantas Airways, is only the second Australian airline to fly to Japan after Qantas.
