‘Jesus made me do it;’ Passenger tries to open aircraft doors
A woman forced a plane to divert after trying to force the aircraft doors.
‘Jesus told me to open the plane door,’ she told investigators.
According to court documents, the 34-year-old tried to force the doors which caused the Houston to Columbus, Ohio flight to divert to Arkansas.
“Jesus told me to fly to Ohio’ she also claimed to investigators.
The woman forced her way past a flight attendant and began pulling at the aircraft doors.
She then bit a fellow passenger who had helped to restrain her.
The woman faces charges of assault and interfering with flight crew.
