Jet2 adds extra flights from Leeds Bradford
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will add over 11,000 additional seats from Leeda Bradford to the Canary Islands this winter.
The increased capacity will be achieved through additional flights and larger aircraft.
Jet2 will add a weekly Thursday service to Fuerteventura from February 13 to May 14.
Timed for the February half term and Easter holidays, it means three weekly services will operate to Fuerteventura during this period.
The company will also be putting on larger aircraft during November.
Alongside this, a new Friday flight to Lanzarote will be added from November 15 to December 13.
This means five weekly services will fly to the destination.
John Cunliffe, aviation and commercial director at Leeds Bradford Airport, said: "The investment to increase passenger numbers shows that demand for winter holiday travel remains strong. We look forward to working closely with the airline to welcome more holidaymakers from across the Yorkshire region."
