Jet2.com has further beefed up its operation from Stansted with the launch of three new routes and additional capacity on existing services for summer 2018.

The addition of flights to Malta, Naples and Nice means that the operator will offer a total of 33 destinations next summer.

It will also offer more weekly flights to several beach and city destinations, including Turkey, Gran Canaria, Menorca, Girona, Paphos, Dubrovnik and Verona.

It will offer an extra 200,000 seats, giving it a total of more than 1.4 million from Stansted, a 60% increase over this year.

The operator will offer two flights a week to Malta, three a week to Naples and six a week to Nice.

To support this growth, an extra aircraft will come into operation at Stansted, giving Jet2 a total of 10, compared with seven this year.
