Jet2.com to create 1,000 jobs
Jet2.com has announced a major recruitment drive, with almost 1,000 pilot, cabin crew and engineering positions available.
To support the drive, the company is hosting a number of roadshows across the UK.
The roadshows are taking place throughout August and September at various airports and locations across the UK and have been designed to support the recruitment of over 180 pilot, 700 cabin crew and more than 80 engineering positions.
The recruitment drive follows the recent addition of an eighth UK base in Birmingham with flights launching in 2017, alongside the acquisition of 30 new B737-800 aircraft commencing in September 2016 over a two-year period.
Roadshow attendees will be able to meet members of the Jet2.com team and receive advice and information about the various roles with an informal chat.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO Steve Heapy said: "We have exciting plans to expand the number of destinations we fly to, as well as the number of UK bases we fly from, and this means that our team is growing all the time."
