Jet2 launches flights to Montenegro

Saturday, 03 Oct, 2019 0

Jet2 has today announced new direct services to Tivat in Montenegro from London Stansted and Manchester Airports.

Montenegro, which Jet2 says boasts ‘golden beaches, cool bars, whitewashed villages and rugged national parks’, is usually accessed from Dubrovnik.

The company will operate up to two weekly direct services to Tivat from both Manchester and Stansted from May to October, 2020.

Located on the west coast of the Balkan peninsula, Tivat will provide access to a number of resorts including Budva, Becici and Herceg Novi.

It will be Jet2’s third new route for next summer, in addition to Preveza in Greece and Zadar in Croatia.

CEO Steve Heapy said: "The introduction of services to Tivat means that we are operating direct flights to Montenegro for the first time. With stunning scenery, a wonderful climate, and fantastic resorts such as Budva and Becici on offer, we are expecting this destination to be hugely popular with holidaymakers."
