Jet2 rolls out resort check-in service

Tuesday, 27 May, 2016 1

Jet2holidays has rolled out its new resort baggage check-in service to more than 60 of its most popular hotels.

The service, first tested at hotels in Benidorm, allows customers to check in their bags at their hotel on the last day of their holiday.

It is now available at 20 hotels in Benidorm and more than 40 hotels across Majorca and Tenerife.

Reps meet customers at their hotel on the day of their return flight and check their baggage in on the spot.

Its ground operations team then transport the bags to the aircraft, carrying out all the standard security checks.

CEO Steve Heapy said: "We are the first and only operator to offer Resort Flight Check In across Europe and it means our customers can enjoy a relaxed and stress-free end to their holiday with us.

"People who have tried it love it and we’re thrilled that even more customers will be able to take advantage of it this year."
