Jet2holidays backs independent agents with extended promotion
With Brits flocking to get the sunshine they deserve following the Prime Minister’s announcement of an exit roadmap from lockdown, Jet2holidays has moved to support independent travel agents.
Jet2holidays is offering £110 off per person on all holidays booked through an independent travel agent if they book on or before 31 March.
The promotion extension comes as Jet2holidays reported bookings surging by more than 1,000%’
This was sparked after the Prime Minister said a global travel taskforce would put forward a report on how to return to international travel.
Data shows that Summer 2021 bookings have surged for destinations across the board including Mainland Spain, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy and Portugal.
With hotspots and leisure city destinations on sale from across their network of UK bases for Summer 2021, Winter 2021 and Summer 2022, Jet2holidays is seeing strong demand across all seasons.,
The extension of this promotion helps independent travel agents secure as many bookings as possible in response to that demand.
The promotion is applicable to all package holidays on sale, meaning holidaymakers can say yes to the big getaway for much less. With more than a million free child places holidays available, they can book some much-needed family time together.
Alan Cross, Head of Trade at Jet2holidays said: "This week’s announcement from the government showed a clear ambition to reopen international travel, which is the positive news that customers and the industry has been waiting for."
"We have seen a real surge in bookings made via independent travel agents on the back of the announcement, which shows the huge demand that is out there."
"In line with our partnership approach to supporting independent travel agents, we have taken the decision to extend our promotion on the back of that demand, helping them to generate sales and grow business," he added.
