JetBlue launching flights to Guyana
JetBlue is spreading its wings to Guyana with daily nonstop flights from New York’s JFK Airport beginning on April 2, 2020.
It will use A321neo aircraft on the Georgetown service.
JetBlue faces competition from Caribbean Airlines which also flies nonstop between JFK and Georgetown.
JetBlue currently has one A321neo in service with an additional 58 on order.
"Guyana service introduces a diverse and underserved destination to the JetBlue route map which will benefit both leisure travelers, as well as those visiting friends and relatives," said JetBlue’s director of route planning Andrea Lusso.
Its first A321neo destination is Guayaquil, Ecuador.
