JetBlue renews long-term partnership with Sabre
Sabre Corp has inked a new multiyear renewal agreement with long-time partner JetBlue.
The agreement renews the carrier’s passenger service system partnership which will include implementation of components of the Sabre Commercial Platform.
Sabre Commercial Platform enables digital transformation across retailing, including next-gen revenue optimization, an open API hub, and a mobile-first, consumer-grade workspace for airport agents.
"Sabre laid out a seamless plan to modernize our PSS technology footprint and upon completion will provide our crewmembers with faster, more user-friendly tools," said Michael Stromer, JetBlue’s vice president of technology and digital products.
It will help to maximize revenue streams and improve the airline employee user experience, Stromer says.
"When we launched the Sabre Commercial Platform, our goal was to offer airlines a holistic approach to retailing, distribution and fulfilment. JetBlue recognizes the value of this approach for their customers and crewmembers," said Dave Shirk, president, Sabre Travel Solutions.
