JetBlue says new site guarantees lowest cruise price possible
JetBlue Airways has partnered with World Travel Holdings to power a cruise section which the airline claims will guarantee customers the lowest price available on advertised cruises.
Through the “Best Price Guarantee,” cruises booked at the site are guaranteed to be the lowest price available; if not, customers will be refunded 110% of the difference if a lower rate is found for the same cruise after purchase, according to airline officials.
According to JetBlue, all cruise lines are available for purchase on the site. It will offer featured cruises, last-minute deals, details on ports and information for first-time cruisers. Sale prices are valid through June of 2008.
“Our customers told us they love flying JetBlue to their port of call, but buying their cruise from one place and their air travel from another Web site was a hassle,” said Trey Urbahn, executive vice president and chief revenue officer for JetBlue.
Mr Urbahn said that cruises on the site are not limited to those arriving or departing from cities JetBlue currently serves.
