JetBlue taking care of business
JetBlue has rolled out a dedicated booking tool enabling small and mid-sized businesses to manage corporate travel.
Called Blue Inc., it offers a number of features for SME travel programs such as the ability to store credit cards for speedier transactions, a group booking function with separate payment options for each traveler and access for administrators to manage bookings of multiple travelers.
Accessible from any device, bookings made on Blue Inc are eligible for TrueBlue frequent flyer points points for both the company and traveler via TrueBlue for Businesses on the platform.
"Traditionally, business travel tools have been very expensive and were reserved for big businesses with huge travel budgets. Small or mid-sized businesses were left to book through traditional consumer channels without any of the benefits of a corporate booking tool," said Dennis Corrigan, vice president, sales and revenue management at JetBlue.
The booking tool also offers hotels and preferential car rental rates with Avis and Budget.
