JetBlue unveils Mint Studio to lure transatlantic business flyers
JetBlue has unveiled its new revamped Mint premium product which it hopes will shake up the transatlantic market.
Its new cabins will have 24 private suites with a sliding door for every passenger.
It is also rolling out the Mint Studio, which it claims will offer more premium space than any other US airline.
There will be two Mint Studios in the front row of each aircraft with a 22-inch tilting TV screen, and an extra side table.
"Mint was an idea to make premium travel across the United States less stuffy and more affordable, and its performance has exceeded even our most optimistic expectations of going beyond New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco," said Joanna Geraghty, COO, JetBlue.
The newly redesigned Mint will launch on transatlantic flights to London later this year and on selected New York to Los Angeles flights.
