The airline partnership was unveiled today at the event launch in Melbourne with Gold Coast Mayor Ron Clarke saying that the support from the value based carrier was a critical plank to the success of the event.

“Jetstar certainly has the services, interstate reach and fares that will help us bring thousands of people to our inaugural event which will hopefully grow to become one of Australia ’s premier celebrations in years to come,” Mr Clarke said.

In support of GCBazaar, Jetstar has announced special web fares for Melbourne , Sydney and Newcastle travelers to the Gold Coast from $59 one way for NSW flights and $89 one way from Melbourne.

In addition, for the whole month of June and to celebrate the GCBaazar, every Jetstar flight into the Gold Coast will host lucky seat competitions with free accommodation cruises, balloon flights and shopping vouchers.

“GCBazaar brings you 30 days of events, exciting entertainment and amazing discounts,” said Mayor Clarke. “You’ll save on everything from fabulous fashion and food to fantastic nightlife, a huge array of hotels and a heap of new ways to have fun.
