Kansas City hotels team up for MICE website
Two Starwood hotels in Kansas City have joined forces to roll out a dedicated website focused on meeting planners.
The Sheraton and Westin Kansas City, located at Crown Center, together launched the website to provide a one-stop resource for meetings in the city.
The two neighboring properties offer a combined 150,000 square feet of meeting space, creating one of the largest venues of its kind in the Midwest, according to the company.
Taking six months to complete, the website offers an overview of floor plans, an events schedule, catering options and the ability to submit RFPs online.
The two hotels share 1,454 guestrooms, 52 meeting rooms, 2 ballrooms and access to the 45,500 square feet Crown Center Exhibit Hall.
In September 2013, Starwood completed a $22 million two-year renovation project for both hotels upgrading all guestrooms and meeting rooms.
