Karisma to manage Colombia resort
Hospitality firm Karisma Hotels & Resorts is adding a resort in Colombia to its portfolio.
Karisma announced a strategic alliance with the Irotama Resort on Rodadero Beach in Santa Marta, which will be managed by Karisma beginning November 1, 2018.
It features 290 hotel rooms and 265 condos across Irotama’s four buildings, and Karisma will also manage the upcoming Irotama Reservado. Irotama Resort.
The property has nine restaurants, four bars, a spa, fitness center, kids club, and events space.
"The milestone deal for Karisma to manage Irotama Resort’s four towers and brand-new hotel takes place on the heels of Karisma’s initial success in Colombia with Allure Hotels. Irotama Resort is a special place and we look forward to further elevating and expanding the property," said Neil Evans, Karisma COO.
It extends Karisma’s footprint in the country which includes Allure Chocolat, Allure Bonbon and Allure Canela in Cartagena.
This latest announcement furthers the company’s goal of owning or operating a portfolio of 30 properties by 2020.
